Evidano is an AI-powered qualitative data analysis platform that helps researchers analyze interviews, open-ended surveys, and documents. According to the PLOS ONE case study published on August 20, 2026, a strategy mapping methodology implemented in a browser-based tool was used in a four-workshop participatory evaluation with 15 healthcare staff between April and June 2023 and produced 10 participant-developed recommendations. According to the PLOS ONE article, ten follow-up semi-structured interviews were conducted in spring 2024 to assess perceived use and value of the recommendations. This post explains what the PLOS ONE study found, shows how AI-enabled qualitative research practices can reproduce and improve those outcomes, and gives practical next steps for evaluation teams and qualitative researchers.
