The Perceived Value and Use of a Master in Health Professions Education among Medical Educators and Clinical Trainers
A collective case study of graduates of the Master in Health Professions Education programme at the University of the Philippines Manila, combining semi-structured online interviews with a review of curricula vitae and historical curricula. Published open access (CC BY 4.0) in Annals of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Vol. 05, 2026, with ethics approval from the UP Manila Ethics Review Board.
Why the AI pass was added
The author’s reflexive thematic analysis came first: open, data-driven coding with an audit trail and cross-case comparison produced five initial themes. To strengthen dependability, the transcripts were then analyzed with Evidano, which generated a complementary codebook and 11 granular themes. The final thematic structure integrated both, and the published results follow the 11-theme structure.
